The Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with a joint security taskforce, on 4th of March 2026 carried out a major demolition exercise in the municipality.
The purpose of this demolition was to bring down all commercial structures sited at illegal places which can bring major road accident.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Honorable Priscilla Yorke led this operation in participation with the Assembly’s Taskforce, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Police Service as well as the Ghana Fire Service.
