The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), together with the Member of Parliament (MP), has donated computers and other ICT accessories to the Asankragua Nursing and Midwifery Training College (NMTC) to support teaching, learning, and administrative work at the institution.
The donation, which included desktop computers and essential computer accessories, forms part of efforts to improve digital learning and enhance ICT education at the college. The items are expected to strengthen the institution’s capacity to provide quality training for future healthcare professionals.
Presenting the items, the MCE reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting educational institutions within the municipality. She noted that investing in education, particularly in health training institutions, is vital to developing a skilled workforce capable of delivering quality healthcare services.
The MP also emphasized the importance of technology in modern education and encouraged students to make good use of the equipment to enhance their academic performance and digital skills. He assured the college of his continued support towards initiatives that promote quality education and healthcare delivery.The Principal of Asankragua NMTC, on behalf of the management, staff, and students, expressed profound gratitude to the MCE and the MP for the generous donation. The Principal noted that the computers and accessories would significantly improve ICT training and facilitate effective teaching and learning.
