SPATIAL PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING
Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Assembly held its Spatial Planning Committee meeting on the 13th of July 2023.
The committee as mandated by section 38 of the Land Use and Spatial Planning Act 2016, Act 925 is the approving authority of all physical developmental permit application in the system.
The Mun. Chief Executive (Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh), the Municipal Coordinating Director (Mr. Daniel Koney), traditional leader (Nana Kwame Appiah), The Physical Planner (Mr. Theophilus Akye) and the representatives from various departments which forms part of the committee were present.
Presentation and approval of Asankrangwa – Metwa Metwa Local Plan was presented and discussed at the sitting. After deliberations and discussions by members of the committee, some of the applications were approved and others deferred.
The committee recommended measures that will ensure that physical development are properly regulated.
