WASSA AMENFI WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY’S INTERSERVICE AND INTER – SECTORIAL MEETING
The Local Government Act, 2016(Act 936) section (81) enjoins Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Assembly to collaborate and co-operate with the Non-Decentralized Departments, State Owned Enterprises, Small Scale Enterprises and Public Corporations operating in the Municipality to ensure a coordinated approach to the development and management of the municipality to achieve a more effective implementation of activities.
In view of this, on Wednesday, 22nd of January 2025, at exactly 9:00am, the meeting took place. The Coordinating Director (Mr. Daniel Konney), the Member of Parliament (Honorable Eric Afful), the Agric Director (Mrs. Patience Amoah Frimpong) the Human Resource manager and Heads from various Institutions such as, The Ministry of Health, Cocoa Board(Agric Extension Unit), Ministry of Education, Minerals Commission, Electricity Company, Ghana Revenue Authority honored the program with their presence.
The meeting started with a briefing by the Municipal Coordinating Director, after, Heads from various institutions addressed the house, of their achievements and challenges during the previous years and also outlined their program planned for the year. After each presentation, the house was opened for questions.
After all presentations by the Heads, the Municipal Coordinating Director, applauded them for their good work, and also assured them that, the municipal assembly is opened to help in any challenge they are facing.
