GENERAL CLEANUP EXERCISE BY WASSA AMENFI WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY
As part of the activities to commemorate the Independence Day, the Municipal Assembly organized a cleanup exercise on Saturday, 1st March 2025, geared towards making the Municipal Capital clean and safe from filth.
The Coordinating Director (Mr. Daniel Konney), the Ghana Fire Service, Immigration Service, Police Service and the entire SHS student in Asankragua, as well as the staff of WAWMA took part in this exercise.
The exercise began as early as 6:am with the sweeping of the streets, cleaning of gutters, gathering and disposing of refuse etc. The people who took part in the exercise were offered water, gloves, boots and nose masks for protection and also brooms, rakes, shovels, wheel barrows etc. to ensure that the exercise is done effectively.
