MCE MEETS NIGERIAN PHONE SELLERS IN DECONGESTION TALK

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Wassa Amenfi West, Hon Priscilla Yorke, has held a meeting with a delegation of Nigerian phone sellers at her office in Asankrangwa on 23rd January 2026.

 

The meeting which was part of the ongoing decongestion exercise in the municipality aimed to engage the sellers on the need to relocate from the principal streets to the CUBA Market.  Honorable Yorke emphasized the importance of cooperation in keeping the town’s streets clear, saying, “We need to work together to make Asankrangwa a better place for everyone.”

 

The Nigerian phone sellers, who expressed appreciation for the MCE’s approach, pledged to support the assembly’s efforts to decongest the town.

 

The MCE assured them of the assembly’s commitment to creating conducive business environment and urged them to comply with the relocation directive.

 

The meeting was part of the assembly’s broader initiative to improve sanitation, reduce traffic congestion, and promote orderly development in the municipality.
