WASSA AMENFI WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY BEGINS STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
The Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Assembly has commenced a series of stakeholder engagement meetings aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Assembly and key stakeholders within the Municipality.
The initiative brings together stakeholders from various sectors, including market women, financial institutions, Pragya riders, traders, and other business operators, to promote a better understanding of the Assembly’s operations, programmes, policies and responsibilities.
The engagement is also intended to provide stakeholders with the opportunity to share their views, concerns and suggestions on issues affecting their respective sectors. Inputs gathered during the meetings will help the Assembly better understand the needs of stakeholders and inform its planning and decision-making processes.

Speaking during the engagement, the Assembly emphasized the importance of active stakeholder participation in local governance and development. Stakeholders were encouraged to take advantage of the platform to openly express their concerns and contribute ideas that could support the development of the Municipality.

The engagement further seeks to promote transparency, accountability and mutual understanding between the Assembly and the various stakeholder groups. It is expected to strengthen communication and create a more collaborative relationship between the Assembly and residents in the delivery of development programmes and services.
The Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to continuous engagement with stakeholders and other relevant groups to ensure that the concerns and aspirations of the people are adequately reflected in the Municipality’s development agenda.
