WASSA AMENFI WEST MCE BREAKS GROUND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW ULTRA-MODERN FIRE STATION AT ASANKRANGWA
The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh, The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Saaka Ibrahim, Municipal Engineer, Fire Service Commander and the Chiefs of Asankrangwa together with some staff of WAWMA on Wednesday 2nd November, 2022 performed a sod cutting ceremony for the Commencement of the construction of a new ultra – modern Fire Service office at Asankrangwa which will help the fire Officers to respond to fire emergencies with urgency and with ease. This project seeks to help the citizens in the municipality to access the fire station with ease in case of any fire outbreak. Due to the excellent performance of the assembly for the past years, the project is funded by DACF-RFG which comes as a result of the Municipal Assembly passing the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT).
The MCE assured the chiefs and the citizens of the municipality that the project will be done in six months.
The chief of Asankrangwa also thanked the MCE and the assembly for the good work and the numerous projects going on in the municipality, and also pleaded with the citizens to help the contractor in any way possible in other that the project time line is adhered to.
