INDEPENDENCE DAY GENERAL CLEAN UP EXERCISE ORGANIZED BY WASSA AMENFI WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY
As part of the activities to commemorate the Independence Day, the Municipal Assembly organized a cleanup exercise on Saturday, 4th March 2023, which aimed at keeping the municipality clean and tidy.
The exercise began as early as 8 am with the sweeping of the street s, cleaning of gutters, gathering and disposing of refuse etc. The people who took part in the exercise were offered water, gloves, boots and nose masks for protection and also brooms, rakes, shovels, wheel barrows etc. to ensure that the exercise is done effectively.
The Municipal Chief Executive (Honorable Lord Nana Tandoh), the Coordinating Director (Mr. Saaka Ibramhim), the Ghana Fire Service, Immigration Service, Police Service and the entire SHS student in Asankragwa, as well as the staff of WAWMA took part in this exercise.
