TRAINING ON SMART WORKPLACE FOR ALL STAFF IN WASSA AMENFI WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY
The training on the Smart Workplace System was held on Thursday 28th November, 2024 at the Municipal Assembly Hall. The one – day training included all staff from various department and unit.
Mr. Frank Kontoh from the Office of the Head of Local Government, Mr. Alex Acquah (Technical Consultant for eSolutions), Mr. Godwin Doagbodzie(Project Manager eSolution Consulting) and Madam Georgina Katakity( MIS Officer,Western Regional Coordinating Council) were the facilitators for this training.
The Technical Consultant for eSolutions, Mr. Alex Acquah explained that, the Smart Workplace system is a platform designed and enhanced to make work much faster, reliable, accurate and also to meet organizational needs. The system is aimed at reducing the use of papers in writing memos, leave letter and other reports. The training included demonstrations on how to use the system to write memos, leave letters and correspondence.
After the training, participants were advised to visit the system more and practice on there, so that when it is fully implemented at the MMDAs, working with it will be more simple and efficient
