INAUGURATION OF A NEW FIRE STATION IN ASANKRANGWA BY WASSA AMENFI WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY
The Municipal Chief Executive (Honorable Lord Nana Tandoh), the Coordinating Director (Mr. Daniel Konney), The Regional Fire Commander, The District fire Commander, The District Police Commander, The Crime Officer Asankrangwa, The CID officer, on the 4th of December 2024, inaugurated a new fire station in Asankrangwa.
The District Fire Commander in his speech pointed out that the First Asankrangwa Fire Station was commissioned on 24th August 1994, and that it’s been 30years on and because of that, it was in a deplorable state. He showed his appreciation to the government and the municipal assembly upon the establishment of the new fire station. Also in his speech, he mentioned that the fire station is responsible for both Amenfi West and Amenfi Central.
The Municipal Chief Executive Honorable Lord Nana Tandoh in his speech said that, the new fire station is part of the assembly’s effort to improve rapid and fast response to fire and health emergencies in the municipality, he also said the new fire station will help fire officers to attend to their duty with ease. As the new station contains more offices which will ensure that their day to day activities are being met.
