WASSA AMENFI WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY’S TOWN HALL MEETING AT ATTOBRAKROM
The town hall meeting organized by the planning department was held on Wednesday, 31st May 2023 at Attobrakrom.
Town Hall meeting is one of the platforms established by the Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Assembly to engage its citizens. As citizen’s participation, community ownership, accountability and transparency are the bedrock of Ghana’s decentralization programme, this meeting is therefore organized to allow the citizens share their views and opinions on issues concerning the municipality and also come with their problems affecting their various community.
The Municipal Chief Executive (Honorable Lord Nana Tandoh), the Coordinating Director (David Koney), the Planning officer, the Media, Nurses, Heads of department and the Nananom of Attobrakrom and the other communities in the municipality honored the programme with their presence.
The Municipal Chief Executive opened the meeting with an address, after, presentation on the state of the assembly, ongoing developmental project, and finished project was presented by the planning officer to the people. The meeting was then opened to questions, the MCE Honorable Lord Nana Tandoh answered and addressed all the questions and the issues raised.
The MCE, assured all the citizens that every issues and concerns raised at the meeting would be attended and that solutions would be provided to the problems that they are facing in their community.
