WASSA AMENFI WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY’S 41st FARMERS DAY CELEBRATION
The 41st farmer’s day was celebrated on Friday 5th December, 2025 in Esuohyiam at the community’s Park. The theme for this year’s celebration was “FEED GHANA, EAT GHANA, SECURE THE FUTURE”.
The Municipal Chief Executive (Honorable Priscilla Yorke), the Coordinating Director (Mr. Daniel Konney), the Member of Parliament (Honorable Eric Afful), the Agric Director (Mrs. Patience Amoah Frimpong), the Heads of Department, the Chief Police Commander, Nanaom from Esuohyiam and the nearby communities, amongst others honored the program with their presence.
In all, 22 farmers were awarded. They received items including, motor tricycle, cutlasses, spraying machines, citations, wellington boots, televisions Sets , fridges, fertilizer, etc.
About 45 exhibitors of food crops and livestock were also given cutlasses.
The Overall Best Farmer for Wassa Amenfi West went to Mr. Mr Aboagye Danqua from Congo. He received a Motor Tricycle, cutlasses, wellington boots, fertilizer etc.
