WASSA AMENFI WEST PROVIDES PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWDS) WITH INCOME GENERATING ITEMS

In pursuance to empowering Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) towards economic and self-reliance, the Municipal Assembly through PWDs share of the common fund provided thirty (30) PWDs (15 males and 15 females) with income generating items sought to put them in income generating enterprises towards sustainable livelihood.

The Hon. MCE indicated his government is committed to ensuring the welfare of all vulnerable groups including PWDs to enable them start their own enterprises of choice in their respective communities. He implored all beneficiaries to make good use of their items and wished them good luck in their economic pursuance.

Present at a durbar organized during the presentation were Community Stakeholders, Executives of the Municipal Chapter of Persons Living with Disabilities, Assembly Staff among others stakeholders.
